Dear Sir or Madam, can you read my book?

For our final Roadside Session (which was actually the first we recorded), we make a hurried journey to the Edinburgh Fringe (and also Aberdeen) to bring you a tale of desperate ambition from the writing world. You can sing along if you know the refrain. 😉

You always take the weather…

For number three in our series of windy singing locations, we took the lyrics literally, and went everywhere we could, taking as much weather as possible. Join us in this Crowded House classic, as we tour around Aberdeenshire with our Tascam TR-05 gizmotron. A list of locations is at the end of the video. 🙂

I Wish I Was Homeward Bound…

For our second “Roadside Session”, where we go and stand somewhere windy and attempt to record live vocals, we ventured out to Keith in Moray. We borrowed the station to make our version of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Homeward Bound”. Alas there were no trains. 🙂

Almost heaven, Aberdeenshire…

As one of the longest bands in the world, at 3000 miles or so, it’s not that common for us to both be in the same place at the same time. So when that actually happens, it’s time to pull out the recorder and find some scenic spots to do some live singing in. 🙂

Here’s the first of our 2019 “Roadside Sessions” – vocals recorded today, live in The Lord’s Throat on the River Don in Aberdeenshire – John Denver’s all time classic, “Country Roads”.
